The Middle East interested in Hummer

There was a time when Hummer was synonymous with success (for its clients and GM), but the current economic situation has managed to turn one of the icons of the American motor industry in a corpse that no one wants to take over. Even some of his potential buyers.
Fortunately for the group, Terry Johnson, managing director of GM in the Middle East, two Arab investors may be interested in teaming up to take over the mark. The Persian Gulf area for years is key in this business, and that being the situation and being the Hummer is a vehicle with higher fuel consumption and more pollution, natural destination is clear, the land where the black gold is cheap.
Arab millionaires are trying to diversify their investments, Western companies entering with or without liquidity problems, just a consortium of the region bought 50% of Aston Martin when Ford began to dismantle the PAG, and in 2005 a group of Abu Dhabi acquired a 5% Ferrari I.
Since announcing the sale, all known candidates have backed away except for Tata . So, the thing seems to be between Arabs and Indians, unless, of course, you see a new player in history.
