The Logan Renault ECO2 incorporates some progress in reducing consumption in the future lead to the production models. It consumes only 3.8 liters per 100 km. And has an emission level of only 97 grams per kilometer.
It's equipped with an engine 1.5 dCi 85 hp and features optimized aerodynamic improvements.

Renault Clio as an innovation to include a version with a gasoline engine that supports the variant of bioethanol E85, with a combined cycle consumption of 5.9 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions do not exceed the 139 g / km. This version is included in the agenda Renault eco2. It also has three basic requirements: one that emits less than 140 g / km of CO2, two, that certify to ISO 14001 and three, the car is recyclable by 95 %.

Dacia brand belonging to the Group Renault Nissan, will very soon, (as option) Eco2 called ecological models, like those of Renault.
This would include all models (Sandero, Logan and Logan MCV) with the diesel engine with an upper limit of 140 g / km CO2. But this will be difficult, for now, since most of the models have gasoline engines. Only in Italy is another motor car, one that is 1.4-liter MPI LPG, which supports liquefied petroleum gas. The Goodyear Tire EfficientGrip, so the firm says, will save a approximately 1.9% of fuel.
This is a tire that would help much to reduce emissions, but unfortunately not as environmentally friendly as the company calls it, as the materials with which it is built, are the same as in the rest of the tires, but less so (more light you could say). Good news for the vehicle market LPG in France: the takeover is announced!
The sale of new vehicles running on LPG has again pushed the LPG market this year.
The Committee of French Propane and Butane (CFBP) has released new figures this morning: 11 387 LPG vehicles were registered in France between January and September 2009, against 1 051 in the same period of 2008. A significant increase!
The premium case, the environmental bonus and the arrival of new models from various manufacturers GPL helped boost sales of new vehicles to LPG. Read the rest of this entry »
