The objective which is to ensure that all administrations of the countries to obtain green cars by 2010. The objective is very clear, because the idea is to start from above the use of hybrid cars, electrical or whatever, it would help further that people see with different eyes these new vehicles. The European Union's approach is only accurate and appropriate, where the same formalized the purchase of 30,000 cars with CO2 emissions. (more...)

1020-ToyotaSAI4_th_3Hybrid cars represent the immediate future of Toyota, which will be demonstrated at the Tokyo Autoshow where Sai presented, based on the Lexus HS250h, the elder brother of the successful Prius.

It is clear that Toyota has enough time betting on clean technologies in their cars. Its successful Prius led the way, but not alone. Japan’s brand has just announced another car with this technology. Sai and will be called the large sedan from Toyota in Japan.

Based on the tech-y enough in the design of the Lexus-HS250h, the hybrid car that Toyota’s premium brand sold in the United States. Under the hood, nothing new about the HS 250h: a propeller-type 2.4-liter Atkinson. This engine with electric drive power generated close to 190 HP.

The aesthetics, inside and out, it varies, but in a more noticeable in the cockpit, which opens the instrument panel and center console, steering wheel and upholstery is opting for a little less glamorous than his brother Lexus. Outside, the two are distinguished by a hood, fenders and headlights different though, as we say, the essence of both cars is similar.

Green trucks

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

01We talked a lot about green cars and hybrid cars, now is the time to talk about the green trucks that are being developed around the world and with different technologies to meet a variety of functions and transport requirements.

We introduce three of the most prominent green trucks we’ve seen lately:

The first is the truck to collect garbage that operates with garbage. The garbage is taken to a center where it is transformed into electrical energy which is used to feed the collection trucks.

The latter are the hybrid truck for Wal-Mart. This major retailer has a great impact on our environment due to its large transport logistics. It is for them who are committed to reducing its carbon emissions by making more efficient hybrid technology for their trucks. Among its projects are hybrid diesel trucks, trucks that run on used cooking oil and natural gas trucks.

02The third passenger buses are double decker in London, which in early 2009 and will be circulating in the European city, with the aim of reducing pollution as they are equipped with hybrid technology, which in addition to reducing their carbon emissions makes them quieter.
