Renault Logan ECO2 – Cheap and Green

The Logan Renault ECO2 incorporates some progress in reducing consumption in the future lead to the production models. It consumes only 3.8 liters per 100 km. And has an emission level of only 97 grams per kilometer.
It’s equipped with an engine 1.5 dCi 85 hp and features optimized aerodynamic improvements.
Renault aims to demonstrate that the low consumption and emissions are consistent with a low-cost vehicle, ecological and 8.3% use of recycled plastics and it is also 95% recyclable.
Logan Renault ECO2 was designed to compete in the Challenge Bibendum, which this year reaches its ninth edition. This is an initiative of the French manufacturer Michelin and to support emissions reductions in transportation and in competition.
The changes have focused on the pistons and injection system, in order to improve combustion, but also increased the aerodynamics on the roof installing a few small pieces.
The Logan is available today in 55 markets around the world under the brands Renault and Dacia. Has been relatively successful, and in some markets was better received than others.
In addition to being designed to compete in this competition, Renault in 2008 will sell at the market this version of the Logan. Where was incorporated also the other countries where it is sold.
