Following the presentations of hybrid cars in the Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari introduced a prototype hybrid sport. The model is called HY-KERS venture Laboratory and has a unique design in their center of gravity.
Lithium ion batteries are located under the floor of the body to produce a lower center of gravity and electric motor has a weight of 40 kilos with a power above 100 horsepower that helps reduce up to 35% of carbon dioxide emissions without losing power.
The brakes use kinetic energy to recharge the batteries thus increasing the autonomy of them.
For the moment, it seems that the great stars of the Geneva Salon are the hybrid cars because of their innovation and the great interest that most car companies have put into them.
