Shell Eco-Marathon 2010, proof of alternative energy

ecomarathonshell1Shell has again and again number 26 in the Eco-Marathon, an event in which teams of students from across Europe are facing with their prototypes in a circuit in search of lower average fuel consumption. There are two distinct categories, that the Urban Concept and Prototype. This year, involving 153 prototypes and 68 Urban Concept. The fuels that are in competition are: gasoline, diesel, LPG, hydrogen, biofuels (biodiesel, bioethanol) and solar energy. Suzuki Kizashi

At the recent September’s Frankfurt Motor Company Suzuki introduced its new conceptual model of business-class sedan Kizashi. Actually, the Japanese avtokontsern more focused on the issue of affordable small cars and crossovers. It is therefore expected to premiere soon SUV Kizashi 2, created in the image and likeness of a sports prototype, but with a more powerful engine (3.6-liter V6) and high ground clearance.

Opel Flextreme

Opel The company has submitted to the autoshow in Frankfurt (in September) a new conceptual model Flextreme. Innovation is the common elements and technology from the U.S. Chevrolet Volt and a strategy based on E-Flex Concern General Motors, which is to use a single architecture for different car engine, depending on what energy resources is a region.
