A new quick-charge system for electric cars, solar

nissan-ev-12Nissan and Showa Shell Sekiyu Company reached an agreement to jointly study the development of a rapid charging system for vehicle power using solar energy, an interesting proposal to change the way we see these cars.

The objective of this project is to disseminate the car electrical in Japan (which is part of the project the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan), and drastically reduce carbon dioxide emissions and dependence on the network electric. Read the rest of this entry »

The Nissan electric LEAF will disembark in San Francisco by the end of 2010

200x133_arton12973I’ve said recently as United States, individuals and businesses may reserve the Nissan LEAF power in spring 2010.

This month, the manufacturer Nissan has partnered with the City of San Francisco.

Their purpose is to promote environmental technologies and also accelerate the development of electric vehicles and infrastructure (charging stations …).

The Nissan electric LEAF will be part of their program of testing before marketing.

I remind you that it will be released late 2010 in Japan, the United States and Europe. It is available in San Francisco in December 2010: well, its people will buy it and drive it everyday.
