Ford won an award for its ECOnetic engine

ford-mondeo-econeticThanks to the low emissions engine that has the Ford, the ECOnetic, has managed to secure a prize in Germany, called OekoGlobe 2008. The site chosen for this award was given Devk in Cologne, a German city.

This occurred because Ford has incorporated into its models an excellent diesel engine, such as the Mondeo is: a 2000 TDCi with an output of 115 hp. Its consumption is 5.2 liters / 100 km and CO2 emissions reach the 139 g / km. For the Fiesta, reaches 98 g / km and the Focus of 115 g / km. Low Emission Hyundai i30 CRDi, now in Spanish dealers

i30Hyundai launched in Spain to a low emission version of the i30, where he manages to 5.3 litros/100km, but its average is 4.5 litros/100km approved. Its CO2 emissions are just 119 g / km. The engine used is the familiar 1.6 CRDi 90 PS.
