Sbarro Assystem City Car, a curious hybrid design

Special feature: the market for LPG vehicles begun to rise again in 2009

200x196_arton12660Good news for the vehicle market LPG in France: the takeover is announced! The sale of new vehicles running on LPG has again pushed the LPG market this year. The Committee of French Propane and Butane (CFBP) has released new figures this morning: 11 387 LPG vehicles were registered in France between January and September 2009, against 1 051 in the same period of 2008. A significant increase! The premium case, the environmental bonus and the arrival of new models from various manufacturers GPL helped boost sales of new vehicles to LPG. (more...)

Mitsubishi Tokyo Motor Show 2009: i-MiEV electric Concepts and PX-MiEV i-MiEV Cargo

200x133_arton12668At the Tokyo Motor Show 2009, the manufacturer Mitsubishi unveils two new concepts: the PX-MiEV embedding an engine hybrid and i-MiEV CARGO, utility derived from the i MiEV electric.

The Toyota Prius wins the title of cars in Japan

200x133_arton12652The Japanese carmaker Toyota has released its 3rd generation Toyota Prius in Japan in May 2009.

Since then, it traces its way to the land of rising sun, she meets a real commercial success and has been voted Car of the Year by a jury of 60 automotive journalists Japanese.

BMW X6 ActiveHybrid dual mode, the return of the uncontrolled expansion

08The timing would have it. BMW introduced the X6 Hybrid on the same day that France and Germany publish figures indicating the return of economic growth. But what better sign of recovery as the output of a large 4×4 hybrid 485 hp and 2450 kg capable of driving 250 mph? We can all say the X6 ActiveHybrid, except that it is a car crisis! There is even a car instead of madness, with no competition in world production. The term innovation does not seem appropriate, but BMW ahead into the unknown with a hybrid car as big and powerful.
